Parking rates 2025
- day ticket € 20,- (valid for 24 hours)
- weekly ticket € 30,- (valid 8 days from the start date you select)
- annual ticket € 40,- (valid 365 days the start date you select)
At the parking meter or with a parking app you pay € 5.00 per hour.
Not sure with which car you”ll be driving to Texel?
Then wait before buying a Texelvignet. From January 1 2026, it will no longer be possible to change your license plate number. If you buy another car, you’ll need to buy a new vignette.
Until January 1 2026 it’s, in some cases, still possible to change a number plate. This costs €13.70 and is only possible with the correct documentation.

This can be found in the email you received at the time of purchase, or you can email gemeentewinkel@texel.nl. You cannot look it up online.
Texelvignet for everyone
The Texelvignet is for everyone: residents, guests and tourists. And it is necessary for all vehicles that use a parking space in a paid parking area, except for holders of a disabled parking permit.
Paid parking from Monday- Sunday from 8.00 to 20.00.
