Reporting information security vulnerabilities (Responsible Disclosure)
The security of our computer systems is very important to us. As is protecting the privacy of our website users. We have taken a range of measures to ensure our system is secure. However, you may still discover a vulnerability. If you do, please let us know as soon as possible. We can then investigate and resolve the issue, and further improve our security.
Report a vulnerability
- Please email the problem to security@texel.nl.
- Please describe the problem as fully as possible. This will enable us to resolve it as effectively as possible.
- We would appreciate it if you could provide your contact details. This will allow us to keep you informed about how we are resolving the issue. It will also enable us to contact you if we have any further questions. This will help us resolve the issue more quickly.
What you can expect from us
- We will deal with your report promptly. We will handle your report with care and keep you informed of our progress.
- We treat all reports confidentially. We do not share a reporter’s personal data with others without their consent. We will share this if we are required to do so by law or by a court order.
- We may mention your name as the person who identified the reported issue. We will do this in consultation with you and only if you wish us to.
- We usually share the report we receive with the IBD. This is an Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) agency that helps local governments with security incidents. In this way, we ensure that local authorities can learn from each other’s experiences.
